Frequently Asked Questions
1.      When and where do I pick up my registration packet?
If you sent in your registration, you should pick it up from 3 to 7 on Friday, June 25 or Saturday, June 26 from 7 am to 4 pm in the Benson High School cafeteria.  Lemonade and cookies are provided courtesy of Benson Public Schools.
2.      What is included in the packet?
Depending on the date of your registration, it includes a reunion T-shirt for the alumnus, prepaid meal tickets, wristband(s) to get into Saturday evening entertainment, schedule of weekend, nametag, Benson postcard (courtesy of Breen’s pharmacy); reunion can coolie (courtesy of Darold’s Super Valu and Swift County Real Estate), Shurfresh reusable bag (courtesy of Do-Mats and Tengwall Agency).
3.      If I have not registered yet, can I still get into the Saturday evening event and purchase meal tickets?
Yes, you can purchase meal tickets and Saturday night “Main Event” tickets at the registration table on Friday 3-7pm and Saturday 7am to 4pm at the Benson High School Cafeteria. We would appreciate you doing this versus waiting and paying at the meal area or at the main gate at the Saturday night event.
4.      Why do I need a wristband?
It gets you into the Saturday evening entertainment; if lost, you would need to purchase one at the door for $10.  People that have their wristbands early will not have to wait in line to purchase one at the gate.
5.      When do I meet with my class?
There is a schedule for individual classes to gather in different high school rooms from 1 to 2 pm on Saturday, June 26.  A schedule of which room and class year is on the website and will be posted in the school.  Some classes may be meeting in a different location and you should have been told where by your class representative.
6.      When and where do I eat the Saturday night meal?
Saturday lunch 12-2pm and Saturday evening meal 4pm to 9pm will be served behind the High School just west of the football field. You will notice a large tent to sit and visit with classmates, friends and neighbors. The Saturday evening meal is pulled pork sandwich, beans, potato salad, cookie and drink. Parking is available at the High School parking lot. There is also a drop off area just behind the High School by the Football field entrance.
7.      When and where is the Sunday worship service?
The alumni worship service (which is also open to the public) will be held at Brock Field at 11am on Sunday. Seating will be available in the field bleachers so blankets may be helpful. If the weather does not cooperate with us, this service will be moved to the Jr. High Auditorium. Money collected during the offertory will be divided between the Benson Food Shelf and Benson Hospice.
8.      Is the “Main Event” on Saturday night open to the public and an all age’s show?
Yes, this is an “all ages” show and is open to the public. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the registration table at the High School or at the gate for $10.00. This gives you access to all bands, beer garden and food. Gate and beer garden opens at 4pm and music begins at 5pm with 4 Alumni Bands playing until 7pm. “Wondercure” takes the stage at 7pm and finally our headline band “Boogie Wonderland” will hit the stage at 9:30pm. Boogie Wonderland is one of Minnesota’s premier touring bands with their full costume retro disco hits, classic rock and pop favorites. Food will also be available throughout the evening. Regular Parking and handicap parking will be available at the Northside Rec area as well as the open field north of the football field. Access to this field is from the service road between Country Road 29 and 9.

9.      Can I still make donations to the reunion?
Yes, donations are still welcome and can be dropped off at the registration table on Friday 3-7pm or Saturday 7pm to 4pm at the High School Cafeteria. You can also send donations directly to BHS All School Reunion, Attn Jen Ebert 511 10th Street N Benson, MN 56215.
